HD: How can I get schedule recordings on HD cameras?

With the latest firmware version, you can set camera automatically start to record during specific time using Schedule Recording. The recordings can be saved to FTP server and SD card (which requires your camera to support it).

Part One Schedule Recording save to FTP
Step 1:
Set storage location to FTP first. Please go to RecordStorage Location, choose Storage Location to FTP and click Save;


Step 2: Setup Schedule recording to FTP. Please go to RecordSchedule Recording. ① Check Enable Schedule Recording, ② choose Main Stream or Sub stream to record, ③ edit time range for the schedule recording and ④ then remember to click Save.


Part Two Schedule Recording save to SD card

Step 1:
Set storage location to SD card. Please go to Record→Storage Location, choose Storage Location to SD card and click Save;


Step 2
:
Setup schedule recording to SD card. Please go to RecordSchedule Recording, ① check Enable Schedule Recording, ② choose Yes for Enable Long-time recording, ③ revise the default Frame Rate to 1, 4, 8, 15, 24 as you wish, ④ choose Stop or Cover for your Record full strategy, ⑤ select Yes or No for Audio Record as you like, ⑥ choose Main Stream or Sub stream to record, ⑦ edit time range for your schedule recording, ⑧ then remember to click Save.


The definition for Record full strategy:
Stop: When SD card memory is less than 256M, camera will stop recording;
Cover: When SD card memory is less than 256M, camera will overwrite old recordings and continue to record.
