Issue: System Extension Blocked
Your ESET software attempts to load new system extensions. To activate these, navigate to Privacy & Security in the System Preferences.
Issue: Your Computer is Not Protected
The system extensions necessary for your ESET software are being blocked by macOS. For enabling protection, go to System Preferences and permit system software from ESET to load.
Steps to Resolve
For macOS Ventura (13) and Later
- Access System Settings: If no alerts are visible, click the Apple menu at the upper-right corner, then go to
System Setting > Privacy & Security
- Review Security: Click the 'Details' button within the Security section where it says, "Some system software requires your attention before it can be used."
- Authentication: Authenticate using your Touch ID or click 'Use Password...' and enter your Username and Password. Click 'Unlock.'
- Toggle ESET Options: Activate the toggles adjacent to ESET options and click 'OK.'
For macOS Monterey (12) and Earlier
