Whitelisting a website has its security concerns. Proceed with caution, ideally under the guidance of ESET Technical Support or a knowledgeable system administrator.
Recommended Precautions:
- Temporarily whitelist websites.
- Avoid whitelisting sites where you input sensitive data, such as banking platforms.
- Don't disable real-time file system protection when interacting with whitelisted sites.
- Report misclassifications to ESET if you think a particular website shouldn't be blocked.

- Open your ESET Windows product's main interface.
- Hit the

Web access protection
. Then click onEdit
next toURL list management

List of addresses excluded from content scan
and clickEdit
. - Press
Add
in the Edit list window. Enter the website or domain you wish to whitelist, then clickOK → OK
to confirm and close theAdvanced setup
window.
Using Wildcards in Web Addresses
Remember to prefix the website with either "www." or a wildcard symbol "*," for example, "www.eset.com" or "eset.com".
