Overview

Deploy the ESET Management Agent and ESET endpoint/server products using ESET PROTECT or ESET PROTECT Cloud. These platforms allow you to package everything into an All-in-One .exe installer for easy setup.

ESET PROTECT: Windows-only installations
ESET PROTECT Cloud: Windows and macOS installations

Pre-requisites for Installation

Admins should handle the installation for the following reasons:

Requires user interaction at the client workstation
Needs a domain admin account
The certificate passphrase is accessible from the .exe file

Additional Deployment Options

Beyond this method, you can use the Live Installer, remote deployments, or manual installations.

Installation Steps (ESET PROTECT)

1. Log In and Navigate:
Open the ESET PROTECT Web Console, and click "Quick Links" followed by "Deploy Agent."

2. Configure Installer:
Select your operating system and further configure your installer's settings, such as Full Disk Encryption and ESET Inspect Connector. Continue.

3. Download Installer:
Choose the relevant installer based on your platform and download it.

4. Install:
Run the All-in-One package using a domain admin account.

Silent Installation for ESET PROTECT

Requirements:

Store installer locally on the device
Use an admin account
Recommended: Run command prompt as admin
Use the .exe installer type

Execution:
Navigate to the installer location and run the command:

C:\path\to\PROTECT_Installer_x64_en_US.exe --silent --accepteula

Open the ESET PROTECT Cloud Web Console, click on "Quick links," then click on "Windows devices" or "macOS devices."

2. Configure Installer:
Download the installer package or customize it as needed.
