Note for Windows 10 Education Users: Previous versions of ESET cannot migrate to this build. Install the latest version post-upgrade.
Upgrade Scenarios
Scenario 1: Version 7.3 – 10.x
You're good to go! Upgrade to Windows 10 with ESET product installed. Your settings and license info will be retained.
Scenario 2: Version 6.5.2132.x to 6.6.x
First, upgrade your ESET product to the latest version and ensure the detection engine is updated. Then proceed to upgrade to Windows 10, but only up to version 1909.
Scenario 3: Earlier Versions
We strongly recommend updating your ESET product to the latest version before going ahead with the Windows 10 upgrade. You'll be prompted to do so during the Windows 10 upgrade process.
