My HiTi P525L is Ready but Windows says Offline or keeps jobs in the queue. What should I check?

QUICK ANSWER

Separate the printer’s own status from the Windows queue and the photo application. Test one local Windows queue before reinstalling drivers or sending the full event job again.

Applies to: HiTi P525L connected by USB to Windows; network print servers and Wi-Fi accessories need separate checks.

Work through these checks

  1. Check the P525L display for Ready and inspect its USB and power connections. If it shows a hardware or media error, resolve that exact message first. Do not repeatedly submit the same batch.
  2. Open the intended Windows printer queue. Confirm the correct HiTi queue is selected and that it is not paused or set to Use Printer Offline. Duplicate queues can point to an old USB connection.
  3. Save work, cancel only the unwanted jobs in that queue and test a direct USB connection with a known-good data cable. Avoid changing several ports and driver packages at once.
  4. Print one Windows test or small known-good image with the correct paper size. If this works but the booth/photo application fails, check that application’s selected printer, template and queue settings.

Confirm the result

A single test leaves the intended queue and prints once. Then submit a small application job before resuming the event batch.

Before going further: Do not disable Windows driver-signature enforcement or use an unofficial download. Restarting the shared print service can interrupt other printers, so coordinate it first.

If you need help

Include these details in your ticket: Windows/driver version, connection diagram, display message, selected queue/port and result of a direct test.
