How to disable digital signature enforcement on Windows 8 drivers

1. Move mouse to right-top or right-bottom corner of screen, click Settings.

2. Click "Change PC settings".

3. Click "General", and then find and click "Restart now" under "Advanced startup".

4. Click "Troubleshoot".

5. Click "Advanced options".

6. Click "Startup Settings".

7. Click "Restart".

8. Press F7 to select "Disable driver signature enforcement". Then reboot.

9. After rebooting, run printer driver installer.



How to disable digital signature enforcement on Windows 7 drivers

1. Left click on Start Menu button, and left Click in the search space and type “cmd.exe”, and then right click the cmd option and left click on “Run as administrator”.

2. Left click on yes button if prompted by user account control.


3. Type the command line in command prompt below and press enter:
bcdedit.exe –set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS

Then it will show that ‘The operation completed successfully'. Then type another command line below and press enter:
bcdedit.exe –set TESTSIGNING ON

It will show again the same message, and then reboot your system.
