Start Here: Eaton UPS, PDU and Power-Management Support

ACE KNOWLEDGE BASE · EATON

Record the exact model, alarm and supported load before any test.

Identify the Eaton equipment and affected load

First distinguish a UPS power problem from a rack PDU, network card or monitoring-software issue. Record the complete model, rating, connection method and the equipment being supported.

Find the appropriate official resource

Eaton's Singapore power-management downloads page separates UPS, PDU and network-connectivity software. Use the model's documentation and compatibility information to select the right resource. Software packages and account requirements vary; do not assume one utility or licence covers every model.

Prepare your support brief

  • Model, serial number, firmware and network-card model where fitted.
  • Exact alarm text or code, LED/LCD state and when it appeared.
  • Displayed load, battery state and input/output readings, if available without changing operation.
  • Connected equipment and whether the issue occurs on mains power, battery operation or only in monitoring software.

Plan any shutdown or test with the system owner. Do not disconnect a live production load, open electrical equipment or perform a battery replacement without the model's approved procedure and suitable personnel.

Contact our Support Specialist with the brief, redacted alarm photographs and purchase or service reference. Runtime, battery condition and service coverage need assessment of the actual installation.

Need a hand with your setup?

Tell our Support Specialist the exact model, version, symptom and checks already completed. Redact private information from screenshots.
