Frequently Asked Question
Why does my Antigravity A1 firmware update fail or still show a component update?
QUICK ANSWER
An A1 setup includes several components and batteries. Check the app connection, power and each reported version; updating one component does not prove the whole set is current.
Applies to: Supported Antigravity A1 firmware updates through the official app or goggles workflow.
Work through these checks
- Record the exact failed stage and version shown for the drone, goggles and controller. Keep the aircraft grounded in a suitable clear area and use the current supported app.
- Meet the battery and connection requirements displayed by the updater. Connect the required devices and keep the phone's network stable for the download; do not begin with depleted batteries.
- Run one supported update attempt without disconnecting power, closing the app or interrupting the process. Follow any instructed restart after completion rather than assuming an automatic shutdown means failure.
- If using multiple flight batteries, check each battery in turn after the system update. Follow any battery-firmware prompt and confirm the reported status before returning it to use. Do not install unofficial firmware or attempt a downgrade.
Confirm the result
Reopen device information and confirm that no required update remains for the connected set and each battery checked. Record the final versions; a completed download alone is not installation proof.
Before going further: If a component remains stuck, unusually hot or unresponsive, stop repeated attempts and provide the failure details. Do not fly with an unresolved update or compatibility warning.
