My Antigravity A1 Vision Goggles have no drone view. How do I check the connection?

QUICK ANSWER

Check that the A1 and Vision Goggles are powered, compatible and linked. A phone connection or powered controller alone does not establish the drone-to-goggles link.

Applies to: Antigravity A1 with Vision Goggles, including after replacing or updating a component.

Work through these checks

  1. Keep the drone grounded in a clear area with propellers unobstructed, and do not start the motors. Check battery levels and note the exact goggles message: a missing device and a black camera image are different symptoms.
  2. Disconnect a USB cable from the drone before a wireless linking attempt. Power the drone and goggles normally, keep them nearby and follow the device-linking prompts for the installed firmware.
  3. For the A1 pairing sequence documented in its user manual, hold the drone power button for more than four seconds to enter pairing and use the goggles' Home button as instructed. Do not substitute a controller button or another brand's pairing sequence.
  4. If a replacement component or interrupted update preceded the fault, record the firmware shown for each device. Use the official supported update workflow to resolve a mismatch rather than attempting an unofficial downgrade.

Confirm the result

Confirm that the goggles identify the correct drone and show a responsive live view while the drone remains grounded. This confirms the link, not flight readiness.

Before going further: Do not launch without a reliable view or use radio-region modifications as a connection workaround. Persistent pairing failure needs support assessment.

If you need help

Include these details in your ticket: A1/goggles serial references, exact on-screen message, each firmware version, recent replacements/updates and whether a USB cable was connected.
