The A1 goggles connect, but my Antigravity Grip Controller does not. What should I check?

QUICK ANSWER

The controller has its own linking step. First confirm which component is disconnected, then use the Grip Controller pairing instructions for your installed firmware.

Applies to: Antigravity A1, Vision Goggles and Grip Controller with an unlinked or unresponsive controller.

Work through these checks

  1. Keep the drone grounded with motors stopped. Charge the controller and check whether it powers on normally. Record any controller or goggles warning before changing settings.
  2. Confirm that the goggles already show the intended A1. A successful drone-to-goggles link does not establish that a replacement or previously paired controller has joined the same setup.
  3. Open the supported device-linking workflow and follow the Grip Controller sequence shown in the A1 instructions. Keep the components nearby and complete one pairing attempt before restarting them.
  4. Compare the device firmware versions and recent changes. If an update failed or a component was replaced, finish the supported update/link process for the complete set rather than repeatedly resetting unrelated devices.

Confirm the result

With the motors still stopped, check that the goggles report the controller connected and that supported menu selection responds correctly. Complete the normal pre-flight checks separately before any future flight.

Before going further: Do not use take-off as a pairing test. Do not assume pairing means controls, sensors and flight conditions are ready.

If you need help

Include these details in your ticket: Controller and goggles models, warning text, firmware versions, power indication and whether the controller was previously linked to another set.
