Frequently Asked Question
Start Here: Choose the Correct TP-Link Support Route
ACE KNOWLEDGE BASE · TP-LINK
Match the product family, hardware version and region to its guide.
Choose the TP-Link product family first
TP-Link support covers several workflows. Identify whether the equipment is an Archer router, Deco mesh unit, Tapo device, mobile-broadband product, adapter, switch or another model. Omada business networking and VIGI surveillance have dedicated guidance elsewhere in this Knowledge Base.
Find the model-specific instructions
Use the TP-Link Singapore Download Center to find manuals, setup resources and downloads for the exact model. Check the hardware version printed on the label and the purchase region. Similar product names do not establish that the same firmware or instructions apply.
Help us understand the issue
- Model, hardware revision, installed firmware and app version where applicable.
- Whether the problem affects the internet connection, local network, Wi-Fi coverage, pairing or a particular device.
- Your modem/router connection path and whether other devices still work.
- The exact error, LED state, start time and recent changes.
For a managed or shared network, agree any service interruption with its administrator. Retain existing settings before considering a reset or update; a factory reset is not a routine first step.
