What are the default administrator username and password in QTS?

Applied models:

• All NAS Series

The default administrator username and password in QTS vary depending on your QTS version.

• QTS 4.4.1 (or earlier)
  The default administrator login credentials for QTS 4.4.1 (or earlier) are the following.
  Username: admin
  Password: admin

• QTS 4.4.2 (or later)
  Starting from QTS 4.4.2, the default password for “admin” is the first MAC address of your NAS without special characters. All letters should be uppercase.

If you have changed but forgot your password, press the Reset button on the rear panel of your NAS for 3 seconds to reset the password. After the reset, you can log in with the default credentials.
