Step-by-Step Procedure

Step 1:
Turn on your camera and connect it to your mobile device via Wi-Fi settings.

Step 2:
Open the OpenSpace app on your mobile device.

Step 3:
Select your project in the app. If you have multiple projects, you can switch projects using the Home/Menu option.

Step 4:
Choose from three options in the app's lower center section:

  • 360 Photo
  • 360 Video
  • Field Note

Step 5:
Tap the blue circle icon under '360 Video' and then the blue camcorder circle.

Step 6:
Name your capture (optional) and press 'Continue'.

Step 7:
Select the floorplan for your 360 Video capture.

Step 8:
Indicate your starting location on the sheet and confirm by tapping 'Confirm Starting Location'.

Step 9:
Start the capture by pressing 'Start Capture'.

Step 10 - Ready to Stop:
Press the red 'Stop' button, then confirm with 'Yes, I'm Done.' Your capture is now complete!

Please Note:

  • Your first capture may take a few hours to process. Subsequent captures will process faster as the system learns your site.

Tips & Tricks

  • Avoid switching floors during a single capture. Start a new capture for a different floor.
  • Upload captures to view them in OpenSpace.
  • You'll receive an email notification when your capture is ready.
