Step-by-Step Procedure
Note: In addition to desktop uploads, you can also upload directly from your phone. Mobile uploads are more convenient for many users, particularly for shorter captures or when you have a stable cell connection. For longer captures or in areas with spotty coverage, it's recommended to use the Desktop Sync App.
Step 1:
Download the OpenSpace Sync app for your region.

Note: Always update to the latest version of the Desktop Sync App. Check for updates via the app's settings (three vertical dots).
Step 2:
Connect your camera to your computer via USB and turn it on. The files should start uploading automatically in the Sync app.
Step 3:
Once the upload is complete, your files are with us for processing. Typically, captures are published within a couple of hours.
Additional Notes for Camera Users:
- Insta360 Users: If the USB port shows a battery icon, use another port as the camera will not mount.
- Insta360 One X and One X2: Set the camera to desktop mode for PC connection. Instructions can be found in the Insta360 support video (0:08 to 0:35).
- Ricoh Theta Z1: Use a 3.0 USB port for connection with the Desktop Sync App.
